Liquid Rockz "Locombo"

Three weeks after launching "Edition Chusma" we're happy to present the first songs from the Berlin based label Chusma Records. Locombo by Liquid Rockz is inspired by the moombathon, global bass & dub movement. Including dolfin sirens, tribal excursions and submerged warehouse raves featured by 3ball shootingstar Dixone from Copenhagen. Liquid Rockz are upcoming talents from Hamburg. Since 2003 they create, produce and release hybrid music, influenced by traditional & urban sounds, global bass & dub.

Download the incredible 30min Locombo megamix here or by the official release on iTunes here.

Daniel Haaksman "More Rambazamba"

Following his acclaimed „Rambazamba“ album release in May 2011, Berlin's Daniel Haaksman now returns with a remix version of his debut, aptly titled “More Rambazamba“. Ensuring instant dancefloor rage, the musical styles on this album reflect on Haaksman ́s DJ and production style: Always full of surprises, eclectic and high-powered, yet with a gentleman touch. We hear on „More Rambazamba“, to quote Wayne & Wax blog author Wayne Marshall, „creative reworkings of some time-honored Haaksman anthems“.

The list of remixers on „More Rambazamba“ is hot and high-calibred. Highlights include: Berlin noise master Jan Driver returning with his classic remix of „Hands Up“ feat. Seguindo Sonhos, Estonia's Bert On Beats reworked the bumpy cover version of „Din Daa Daa“ in his trademark Kuduro inspired bass style while Hamburg's So Shifty injected beefy beats to „Bomba“ feat. Roxxxy Bione. And Urbs from Vienna remixed „Rap Da Silva“ in classic jah roots fashion.

Urulu "Across The Sky"

Los Angeles-based Urulu fuses inner-city influences with worldly sounds. His production is demonstrative of his light-hearted attitude and an admiration for cultural electronic music. From his production to his DJ-sets, the West-Coast sultry vibe that Urulus music brings is infectious.

Utilizing a combination of cerebral, haunting vocal samples, which are the product of endless hours of late-night YouTube digging, and infusing luscious deep chords and low-slung basslines, Urulu strikes the balance between post-modern dancemusic and soulful 90s house.

With evocative and emotive productions showcasing a stripped back, classic feel, Urulu’s sounds are a throwback to the lost generation of smoother groove-makers.
Check out his hotly-anticipated debut EP on Exploited: “Across The Sky”.

Urulu is published by Edition Exploited / Highscore Publishing.

Cocolores "Vox"

Germany's Exploited label returns with yet another powerful release, this time from young Munich-based duo, Cocolores. The label has been hitting us with back to back 5-star EPs that usually end up topping the charts a month later (Claptone's "Cream" and Adana Twins' "Everyday" both reached the top on Beatport) so it is obviously exciting to see a new one show up. Labeled as "the return of Nouveau Bavaria", Cocolores is Jason Heath and Manuel Garay - two youngsters from Munich who produce a unique blend of 90ies house with a delictable tinge of urban funkiness. For now check out the follow-up "Vox" by these 2 gentlemen.

Vox is published by Edition Exploited.
